Additionally, it offers outstanding optical clarity, transmitting wavelengths from UV to 4.7 microns, making it perfect for advanced medical imaging and diagnostic applications.

AOG Sapphire Medical Optics feature an impressive Mohs 9 hardness, second only to diamond, ensuring exceptional durability and scratch resistance. These optically clear sapphire components are custom-manufactured to OEM specifications, available in sizes ranging from 0.25” to 10” diameter in round, square, concave, convex, flat, or stepped configurations. Sapphire windows offer up to 85% transmission when uncoated and can be coated to achieve >99% transmission, depending on thickness. Ideal for medical devices requiring superior optical performance and extreme durability.
