Sapphire Optics
Sapphire Watch Glass for scratch-proof crystal faces of Watch
sapphire-watch-glass
  • Extremely hard, strong and wear resistant
  • Excellent thermal conductivity/heat resistance
  • Exceptionalchemical stability
  • Excellent transmission bandwidths (UV to IR)
  • Blank substrates, AR-coated pieces, and precision windows are available
  • Sapphire is a synthetic crystal (aluminum oxide Al2O3). Synthetic Sapphire exists exceptional performance of high hardness, high strength, scratch resistance, and chemical durability. Sapphire is second hardest minerial and ranks a 9 on the Mohs scale, that mean almost nothing other than diamond is able to scratch the sapphire watch screen. Watch glass made of synthetic sapphire offers durability, toughness, and aesthetic appearance.

AOG SAPPHIRE supply a wide range of sapphire watch glass with various shapes and sizes to fit different watch cases. Including flat sapphire watch glass, dome sapphire watch glass, AR coating sapphire watch glass, and custom shape, our Sapphire watch glass series feature brilliant reflective quality, superior strength and clarity, highly scratch and impact resistant.

    Notes

  • Anti-reflection coatings are also available at your specified wavelength.
  • Sapphire transmits ultraviolet light, but sometimes exhibit fluorescence when subjected to powerful ultraviolet sources. For this reason, they are best suited for use with visible to infrared wavelengths.
  • Be sure to wear laser safety goggles when checking optical path and adjusting optical axis.
